He has taught risk management for PMI SeminarsWorld for over a decade and is the author of the textbook, "Risk Management: Concepts & Guidance." He has written multiple white papers on risk management for the Cutter Consortium and has provided consulting risk support for government agencies, as well as some of the world's largest construction firms, product development organizations, and utilities. Are you a Risk Master? PMI is giving you a chance to prove it with the PMI-Risk Management Professional certification. Now, the Baltimore Chapter offers a special, two-day, one-of-a-kind experience with the Risk Man himself, Carl Pritchard. It's our first-ever PMI-RMP Certification Boot Camp. During this intense two days, you'll review the risk management process in depth, covering the details of what you should know about the intricacies of one of the most challenging aspects of the project management profession. Carl will cover the nature of the exam, the content areas and the exam blueprint, the tricks of the exam and the challenges of completing the certification application. He'll share insights from his exam experience and help you develop a targeted study strategy to fine-tune your skills before facing the test. The course will cover: - the application process - sources of good exam practice questions - what to read and what NOT to read as you prepare - the thinking and philosophy behind the exam, and, of course - the content you'll face in this special PMI exam experience Course participants will receive course handouts, including 50 practice questions to get you focused on the exam. Must cancel 3 days prior to event.

Meeting Information

The PMI Baltimore Chapter hosts monthly dinner meetings and bi-monthly luncheon meetings.

Dinner meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month and alternate between the Crowne Plaza in Timonium MD and the Ramada Inn BWI in Hanover MD. They start at 6:00 PM.

We will be having bi-monthly Annapolis dinner meetings on the fourth Wednesday of the month at Carrol's Creek Cafe. The Annapolis meetings start at 5:30 with an hour for networking, dinner starts at 6:30, and the presentation starts at 7:30.

We will also be having a bi-monthly dinner meeting in the Salisbury, MD area on the alternating months on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the Adam's the Place for Ribs restaurant in Fruitland. The Eastern Shore dinner meetings start at 6:00 PM.

Every other month, we will be meeting in Frederick, MD, at the Red Horse Steak House. Networking starts at 6pm, with dinner at 7pm, and a presentation starting promptly at 8pm.

We also hold luncheon meetings in Columbia, MD on the fourth Monday of the month at the Howard County Business Center, 6751 Columbia Gateway, Columbia, MD 21046. These meetings start at 11:30 AM. Please note that payment for the Columbia luncheon meeting is at the door. Online payment via PayPal is currently not available for the Columbia luncheon meetings.

We also have events at NASA Space Flight Facility at Wallops Island, VA and at Aberdeen, MD.
