What will you learn? Project Communications and Presentation Excellence - Project communications are a make-or-break proposition for most projects. Communicate well, and the project will succeed. Communicate poorly, and even the most efficient efforts may be misperceived, misunderstood and poorly valued. In this intense two-day workshop, participants hammer through the components of project communication and discover new tools to improve their ability to identify who they should be talking to, how and when. The workshop also covers, in-depth, the rudiments of facilitation and presentation to take meetings and presentations from the ordinary to the extraordinary through the effective use of stories, analogies and team participation.

Objectives: Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be able to: identify the components of communications models; Recognize which element(s) of the communications model is(are) breaking down; Recognize the need for different communications styles for different stakeholders; Employ five best practices for different communications tools; Present a 30-second elevator speech with power; Open a briefing where attendees want to be there for the end!; Build a communications plan; Conduct a communications breakdown “rescue”; Evaluate and respond to meeting attendee expectations; and Find ways to attract attention and engage the audience intensely through stories and anecdotes
