Need Directions? MapQuestFor the first time, results from the recent PMI Baltimore Chapter 2012 will be reviewed with participants in an interactive approach never done before. This event will include reporting PMI Baltimore Chapter measures against prior year’s results, reaching out to participants, the PMI BC stakeholders, to determine what members would like to gain from an education perspective for 2012 and beyond. This will be a highly interactive session with the Baltimore Chapter President, Eric Perlstein. Come and be prepared to review the chapter survey and provide feedback to Eric.
Eric Perlstein currently is the President of the PMI – Baltimore Chapter and has served on the Board since 2006. During his tenure, Mr. Perlstein has establish programs and processes in improving communication to its membership, developing newsletters, and providing proper social media to reach out to its membership. Mr. Perlstein has also expanded its Chapter base by implementing programs by providing Seminars and education opportunities in order to leverage the knowledge and reach out to the membership of Baltimore.
Mr. Perlstein has recently received the 2011 PMI Leader of the Year Award for his commitment to support PMI Baltimore Chapter and its growth and education offerings.
Mr. Perlstein taught a variety of project management courses for local universities and colleges in the Baltimore area. He has also served on various panel discussions and forums providing insight into the Project Management field and what drives the need for program management.
Mr. Perlstein has served as a contractor to the federal government for over 27 years mainly in support of the Department of Defense and currently in support of the Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services. Eric is both PMP and RMP certified. He also holds the ITIL Service Management Certification.
Time and Location Information
Meeting starts with Networking at 6:00pm followed by dinner and the presentation for an hour. Meeting normally ends by 9:00pm.
