Don Hoffmann, PMP

Since starting his career at RCA Government Communication Systems (Camden NJ) as a Mechanical Engineer on SATCOM programs in 1983, Don Hoffmann has been interested in the how well teams function on projects. His thinking evolved through experiencing different corporate cultures through the Outsourcing of the 1990’s and the Perry Initiative and through mergers and acquisitions: RCA -> GE Aerospace -> Martin Marietta ->Lockheed Martin.  With 12 years in Engineering Design and 17 years in Operations Engineering and Production Management at 4 locations of various sizes, a diversity of organizations: union and non-union, hardware focused and software focused, matrixed and distributed, unique perspectives have emerged.

After leaving LM in 2012, Don supplemented his ample LM Leadership training and Blackbelt engagement in over 100 continuous improvement events, with the PMP Certification. He has since applied that knowledge as Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Digital Signal Corporation, and currently at Closet America. In addition to driving performance excellence, Don has focused on team health and employee growth, in particular growing leaders (LDP programs) . . . and looking to turn difficult challenges into growth opportunities.
