We will review how Disciplined Agile (DA) can be applied to any organization within anyWe will review how Disciplined Agile (DA) can be applied to any organization within anyindustry across many teams with Project Managers and teams of teams.Andrew & Brent will discuss how they and the Tactec team have improved quality, time, andcost by applying DA practices into a multimillion-dollar construction organization. Learn how injust a few weeks, objective evidence of improvement is taking place in a very complex program(Building Sites), something not usually thought to be applicable in the world of Agile.

• Why agile and lean are appealing to leaders of the Construction business?

• Understand how Scrum was introduced many months ago with little progress, and injust weeks, DA is accelerating customer value.• How business agility can be implemented in small batches with big payoffs, using DA!

• How Disciplined Agile can scale for extensive programs and projects.

• How Project Managers (and others) at the Construction site improve their skills whilefinding more joy on the job.

• Briefly summarize an approach for a transformation & lean change management planfor adopting DA in your organization. 

Presenter: 

Brent (President, Enterprise Coach and Instructor, DAVSC, DAC, DASSM, DASM) started Tactec in 2016 with the vision of building world-class products and services thatBrent started Tactec in 2016 with the vision of building world-class products and services thatsupport his mantra of focusing on value at velocity. An author, consultant, instructor and agilearchitect, he gets to do all of these at Tactec! Brent has lived in over five countries and workedin over 100 cities with some of the largest companies in the world. Brent is an Advisor to thePMI DA Board and an Advisor and Instructor for the PMI Disciplined Agile Value StreamConsultant Community of Practice and DAVSC certification.

Andrew is a Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) with over 10 years working in both I.T and construction projects. Using agile methodologies throughout his career, Andrew hones his DA Scrum Master skills and is implementing DA across several organizations. Andrew is now a DASM for a large construction company helping teams implement DA business agility processes to the enterprise level.
