Abstract: Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues remains as important as ever, but this can be challenging while so many of us are working remotely. Our teams must adapt our approaches to engaging both new hires and existing team members while we can't be physically together in the workplace. This session will discuss the importance of positive professional relationships among remote teams and offer suggestions to promote these relationships while we work in different locations.
Presenter: Leah Mayer, M.Ed. is a Senior Clinical Training Specialist with Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc., where she is a member of the Learning & Professional Development group within the Clinical Monitoring Research Program Directorate. Leah supports the Division of Clinical Research at the National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases and works extensively with PREVAIL efforts in West Africa. Her areas of expertise include instructional design, adult learning theory and practice, teambuilding, and organizational development.
