PMP Exam Prep (Hybrid Class) – 6th Edition 2019 FALL SESSION

PMP EXAM PREP 6TH EDITION!!

This Hybrid class is perfect for those who require schedule flexibility. Two Saturdays of classroom instruction coupled with one 2-hour live webinar, and 40 hours of on-demand access to virtual training. This Hybrid Class meets the PMI 35-hour PMP eligibility requirement, and consists of the following:

  • Two days of in-person classroom instruction

Hardcopy of the following provided on September 14, 2019:

  1. A light continental breakfast will be provided on 9/14/19 and 10/5/19.  Students will be on their own for lunch, and there are a variety of lunch options near the training facility.
  2. Key-topic Handouts (Key ITTOs, process workflow diagrams, exam tips/tricks, sample Brain Dump, and much more…)
  3. Comprehensive Student Manual, with hardcopies of all slides used in the class, plus end-of-chapter quiz questions and exercises
  4. Comprehensive Study Plan (over a 90% exam pass rate for those following this straight forward Study Plan)              
  5. Virtual Training - consisting of a full suite of training materials (6 weeks access):
  6. On-Demand Instruction - 40 hours of online pre-recorded instruction, including online simulated exam questions, Flash cards, and MP3 summary review files for all Knowledge Areas. (Each of these summary files is typically 50 to 60 minutes in length.)
  7. Online Exam Simulator (1,200 situational questions)
  8. One 2-hour live webinar on Saturday, September 28, 2019 (Q&A session for the students).  Time TBD.
  9. Email access to instructor over the 6-week period

September 14, 2019 (Day 1) @ MSU

Overview of the 6-week class, Review Study Plan, Intro to PMP Exam & Test Taking Techniques, Review of Student Manual and key-topic handouts, Project Framework and Process, Integration, and guidelines on the use and operation of the online Virtual Training.

September 28, 2019 (Live 2-hour webinar)

Two hour Q&A session based on student submitted questions. Specific time TBT.


October 5, 2019 (Day 2) @MSU

Review PMBOK Process Flow Diagrams, Scope, Scheduling (Critical Path Method), Cost (EVM), Risk, and Procurement 

Online Virtual Training (on-demand)

This 6-week training program requires that students utilize at least 20 hours (maximum of 40 hours) of online Virtual Training.

The Online Virtual Training schedule will be provided on the first day of class.

About the Speaker:

Mark McGreevy, PMP, PMI-ACP

Mark has 25 years of industry experience in project, portfolio and program management. His career background includes employment at United Airlines, Exxon USA, T. Rowe Price, Chevy Chase Bank, and Johns Hopkins University/Applied Physics Lab.

Mark earned his PMP in 2006 and his PMI-ACP in 2016. He has an MBA in Management Information Systems and an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Electronics.

Mark has been teaching project management classes for over eight years and has taught for the PMI Baltimore Chapter (PMIBC), the Washington, DC Chapter (PMIWDC), as well as a variety of PMP and ACP exam prep providers and corporate clients. His teaching experience includes both PMP and ACP (Agile) exam prep. He has consistently received excellent student feedback on his engaging teaching style, well-structured course content, expert knowledge, and interactive work group techniques. He has received countless letters of appreciation from students who have taken his courses.

Mark has been an active PMIBC Chapter member and volunteer for the past 12 years, and has taught PMP Prep classes for the chapter membership for the past 8 years.

Mark is a resident of Maryland, and he currently lives in Elkridge with his wife and two children.
