This one day course is for project and program managers and software development professionals who are considering implementing Agile project management methodologies, or for organizations where additional Agile project management education is needed. Participants will be introduced to the basic methods, tools, techniques, terminology, and rationale (justification) for deploying Agile project management.
We will review the Agile project management life cycle, the most common Agile methodologies in use today, and the mainstream Agile tools used by the Agile practitioner. Agile stakeholder roles and responsibilities will be defined, and we will review the characteristics of a successful Agile team. An overview of tools and techniques will include Agile charts, prioritization schemes, estimating techniques and how Agile enhances the communication and feedback loops on project management teams.

About The Speaker
Mark McGreevy, PMP, PMI-ACP
Project Management Training, LLC
Mark has 25 years of industry experience in project, portfolio and program management. His career background includes employment at United Airlines, Exxon USA, T. Rowe Price, Chevy Chase Bank, and Johns Hopkins University/Applied Physics Lab.
Mark earned his PMP in 2006 and his PMI-ACP in 2016. He has an MBA in Management Information Systems and an undergraduate degree in Aerospace Electronics.
Mark has been teaching project management classes for over eight years and has taught for the PMI Baltimore Chapter (PMIBC), the Washington, DC Chapter (PMIWDC), as well as a variety of PMP and ACP exam prep providers and corporate clients. His teaching experience includes both PMP and ACP (Agile) exam prep. He has consistently received excellent student feedback on his engaging teaching style, well-structured course content, expert knowledge, and interactive work group techniques. He has received countless letters of appreciation from students who have taken his courses.
Mark has been an active PMIBC Chapter member and volunteer for the past 12 years, and has taught PMP Prep classes for the chapter membership for the past 8 years.
Mark is a resident of Maryland, and he currently lives in Elkridge with his wife and two children.
