In the Door to Stay – Onboarding with Staying Power

Synopsis:

You’re trying out a new restaurant.  You walk through the door for the first time.  Before you even sit down, you know that you’ll be back time and again.  In the seconds it took for the hosts to welcome you and get you to a chair, what did they do to create an instant sense that you’re a new, lifelong customer?

They followed an effective “on-boarding” process.  They gave you the sense that they care, and that your personal outcome mattered.  They paid attention to you, and to the details.  And despite the fact that they were busy, they gave you the sense that you were the only person that they cared about in that moment.  The keys to their success?
