Additionally, Laura is on the board of the Washington DC chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) where she serves as VP of Marketing and on the advisory board of the Virginia International University. For over 10 years, Laura served on the board of the Montgomery County chapter of PMI. She has also served on the board of Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, Inc.
Laura has a Computer Science degree from Virginia Tech, a Project Management Institute (PMI), PMP certification (11 years) and a Prosci Change Management Practitioner certification.
