Abstract: Advanced Agile Essentials is a value-packed 1-day course providing a deep dive into topics necessary to mature your Agile expertise. The class builds on foundational knowledge and exposes students to important, next-step topics and best practices. This course includes several hands-on activities to reinforce the formal learning and concepts presented in class. In addition, participants are strongly encouraged to share their real-world challenges to create a meaningful learning environment. This course is recommended for people with a foundational knowledge of the Agile mindset, Scrum, and Kanban; or who have completed the 1-day Agile Essentials course. This course is aligned with the Project Management Institute’s Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP®) and Scrum Alliance’s Certified Scrum Master (CSM®) and Certified Product Owner (CSPO®) course outlines.

What you will learn:

· Applying the Lean-Agile mindset, values, and principles to projects and operations, speeding the flow of value to your customers.

· A customer-centric mindset that puts our customers at the center of our products and services.

· The keys to being an effective agile leader and how to lead an agile transformation.

· An introduction to the Disciplined Agile toolkit and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Participants will receive a certificate of completion from Project Management Essentials and be able to claim 7 PDUs.

Instructor: The class is presented by Alan Zucker, founder of Project Management Essentials. Alan has over 25 years of experience leading projects and project management organizations in Fortune 100 companies.
