Abstract:
Organizations are realizing the benefits of improving their value streams to help them achieve organizational agility. Value Stream Managers use this emerging skillset to improve the flow of value to customers. Project Professionals are uniquely situated to fill this critical role and PMI has extended the learning journey for them to evolve into Value Stream Managers.
Value Stream Management is an eLearning class will teach you how to improve the environment in which value gets produced. You will understand how to decrease time to market, enabling your organization to deliver increments of value to customers more frequently and predictably. This presentation will give you an overview of the Value Stream Management class and go deeper in a few areas to give you a sense of what is contained in the class.
Presenter: Curtis Hibbs is a Lean-Agile book author, systems thinker, and thought leader with a 40+ year career. He is currently a Disciplined Agile thought leader at PMI and a member of the DA IP team. He previously coached enterprise Lean-Agile transformations after a career as a software developer and serial entrepreneur who is best known for inventing real-time closed captioning.
