Director, Baltimore Division

Ben Armbruster

With two decades of management and leadership experience under his belt, Mr. Armbruster is well placed to serve the Baltimore City and County members of the PMI Baltimore Chapter, to promote and enhance the project management profession in the Baltimore area.

He served in the US Navy for twenty years as a front-line leader, translating commanders’ requirements into achievable tasks for subordinates in order to meet mission goals.  And today, armed with a PMP certification, he seeks to continue this mission for our local community.

  • As a military instructor with Navy Information Forces Command, he met with stakeholders to develop requirements for future mission needs, and use those requirements to develop, pilot, and implement cutting edge curriculum for students, enhancing their mission readiness.
  • As a subject matter expert at United States Cyber Command and United States Seventh Fleet, he led teams conducting threat analysis and indications & warning and prepared and delivered briefings to senior commanders and decision makers, ensuring the knowledge was available to make smart, informed decisions and develop forward-looking policy.
  • And today, as a workflow manager on a government contract, he frequently collaborates with customers from multiple organizations on project requirements to prioritize tasking and develop mission-driven solutions in a timely manner with efficient usage of taxpayer dollars.

Benjamin Armbruster is a servant leader who ensures his team succeeds first.  He is dedicated to mission success and has the dedication and experience to see it carried out.
