In my seven plus years of being a PMI Baltimore, my volunteer worked entails collaborating with and mentoring other IT volunteers. My volunteer responsibilities entail managing and providing solutions to problems related Membership Data Analytics, Contract management and negotiations, Office365.com management and support, PMI Baltimore website design, development and support, IT Asset procurement/management and Audio/Visual Engineering solutions needed for Chapter events, PDEs and the annual Membership meetings. I am also a Discipline Agile Champion for the Baltimore Chapter. I would like to personally thank the PMI Baltimore Chapter Board for their insight and support of transforming our legacy website to its new and modern look and feel.
As part of Gil’s drive to keep volunteering and to give back, he was given the opportunity to start, manage and instruct Trinity Lutheran Christian School’s inaugural and successful Robotics Program. Due to my love for technology along with having the ability to blend traditional Project Management with Agile Product Management when mentoring young people, I am certified by the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy as a VEX Robotic Programming Instructor. I am also certified by the VEX Corporation as a Robotic instructor/judge/coach for the VEX GO, IQ and V5 Robotic Platform and Curriculum.
