The PMI Baltimore Chapter is pleased to announce the first Baltimore Division Meeting.
Abstract:
There are times in our lives when we think the best days are behind us –wrong answer! The best day may be embedded in the days ahead; we just don’t know it yet. In this presentation, expert speaker, Carl Pritchard, returns to the Baltimore County stage to talk about your potential for personal reinvention. As adversity rears its ugly head, Carl examines how we can rejoin the professional race and get back in the saddle for better times ahead. He charges us to look to the future and the past to engage in personal reinvention and learn specific steps to start putting together a saddle-returning, reinventing action plan.

Carl Pritchard, PMP®, PMI-RMP®
Carl Pritchard is a recognized lecturer, author, researcher, and instructor. As a lecturer, he is considered a leading authority on risk and communications management and presents on a variety of management topics, ranging from project essentials to the complexities of network diagramming and team motivation. As an author and researcher, he has published articles on project management language, advances in risk management, and the challenges of training on the Internet. His work as an instructor has taken him around the world, training with some of the leading international training organizations, as well as for private clients and the Project Management Institute®. He is the U.S. Correspondent for the U.K. project management journal, Project Manager Today.
Carl has recorded presentations for international conferences on DVD and developed on-line training for the Project Management Institute®. He was also the architect of ESI International’s landmark programs in distance learning. He serves on the Board of Directors for ProjectConnections.Com and recently recorded an extensive audio training program, The Portable PMP® Prep with Bruce Falk.
Carl has served as a semi-final judge in PMI’s annual “Project of the Year” competition and served the Federal Highways Administration as a judge in their biennial project competition.
Carl regularly consults and coaches on project management, presentation skills, risk, e-learning, and course development with a variety of organizations. He serves on the board of directors and presents podcasts for ProjectConnections.com. He holds a B.A. from the Ohio State University and is a Project Management Professional® as certified by the Project Management Institute.
