The election process for the new PMI Baltimore Chapter and previous elected positions will begin with the approval of the Bylaws starting on November 26, 2019. Therefore, this is a call to all PMI Baltimore Chapter members that would like to volunteer as candidates for the following positions:
Vice President of Administration and Governance

Vice President of Finance

Vice President of Professional Development

Vice President of Technology

The following are the requirements that must be submitted by December 2, 2019 no later than 11:59 PM to run for any of the above PMI Baltimore Chapter positions:
- All candidates require three letters of recommendations from any PMI Baltimore Chapter members, PMI Baltimore Chapter Board, employers, spouse or significant other.
- Bios/photos for all candidates: Each person on the election slate should provide a biography and photograph to support their candidacy. We encourage candidates to write a short, professional bio that includes their volunteer experience and passion for PMI and the Chapter (example below).
Joanna Smith has worked as a Project Manager in the Oak Ridge area for the last 30 years, executing both environmental and nuclear clean-up projects at all 3 Department of Energy sites. Her responsibilities have included integrating, facilitating, and leveraging matrix teams to accomplish project goals, and mentoring new Project Managers to pass along the experiences gained from past projects. She has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Phoenix and received her PMP in 2010. Joanna has been a member of the Project Management Institute, Mars Chapter since 2010, and has been VP of Membership since January 2018; prior to that, she served as Director of Programs for 4 years, where she helped coordinate monthly chapter meetings.
